For companies

English for your staff, on one invoice.

A fixed monthly fee for two sessions each week, up to twelve people, at every level. The more staff you include, the less it costs for each person. You receive a monthly report showing who attended and what they studied. In person anywhere in Cyprus, online, or both.

How it works

One session in person at your offices and one session online. Each session is planned for a different level and your staff choose which one to attend. Nobody is told that they are in the lower group, which is usually why these programmes lose people.

What you receive

A monthly report for each person: attendance, what they studied and how they have improved. Your staff also get access to the lesson material online: notes, vocabulary, homework and short tests. They can work between sessions, and they keep everything.

Who it is for

Teams who work with international clients every day: technology, finance, law and corporate services, hotels, clinics and property. If your staff are less effective in English on calls and in meetings, this is the problem it solves.

What we cover

The English your staff actually use.

  • Sales and client meetings — explaining a product, answering a hard question, and talking about price without sounding rude.
  • Presentations — how to open, how to keep people listening, and how to handle the questions at the end.
  • Negotiation — asking, refusing and agreeing in English, and how direct you can be with a client from another country.
  • The language of your industry — law, medicine, IT, finance, engineering, hotels or property. If it helps, we can use your own documents and your own situations, but you do not have to provide anything.
  • Email and reports — writing that is short, correct and polite.
About the trainer

I sold to your customers before I taught your staff.

Before I taught English, I spent more than ten years selling to clients around the world, and training the agents and partners who sold with me. My clients came from many different countries and cultures, not only from Cyprus. I also managed and trained teams in the United Kingdom.

Because of this, the situations we practise are not from a textbook. They are the meeting where the client goes quiet, the question about price that you did not expect, and the email afterwards that has to be correct. I have been on both sides of those.

One member of staff

You can also pay for private lessons for one person.

Not every company needs a class. Sometimes one person has to present to clients, run meetings in English, or move into a role that needs it. In that case I teach that person privately and invoice the company.

The lessons themselves stay between the student and me. The company receives attendance and a short monthly summary of what was covered, which is enough to justify the cost, and not so much that the student stops speaking freely.

€30 for each 50-minute lesson, VAT included, invoiced monthly. Online, or in person in Cyprus.

Why a fixed fee

Paying for each session helps nobody.

When you pay for each session, an empty place costs you nothing. So nobody makes sure people attend, and the programme slowly stops. A fixed monthly fee changes that, because the places are already paid for.

It also means that the cost for each person falls every time you add somebody, while my fee stays the same. If you want better value, the answer is more people in the room, not fewer sessions.
