One student and one plan. We study what you need, at the speed that suits you.
- Business English — meetings, telephone calls, email, presentations and negotiation. Also how direct to be, and how to say difficult things politely.
- Sales and presentation skills — how to explain your product, answer a hard question, and ask for the order without sounding rude.
- English for your profession — the language of law, medicine, IT, finance, engineering or any other field you work in.
- English for daily life — for people living in an English-speaking country: the doctor, the bank, the landlord, neighbours and colleagues.
- General English — grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking, at your own level and your own speed.
- Feedback on your writing — if you want, send me a real email, report or presentation and I will show you how to improve it. It is not required, and I can supply the material instead.
After every lesson you receive your own page. It has a summary of the lesson, your vocabulary, your homework and a record of your progress.
If a group class is better for you, I will say so. For general speaking practice it usually is, and it costs much less.
Prices
All prices include VAT. Lessons in person in Cyprus are arranged separately. Blocks of ten lessons cost less. Companies receive a monthly invoice. Please see the terms for cancellations.
Four lessons, one skill, a clear finish.
Some people do not want to study English in general. They want to fix one thing. A short course is four private lessons on one subject only, usually one lesson a week. At the end it is finished, and you decide whether to continue.
Presenting in English
Opening, keeping people listening, explaining a number, and answering the questions at the end. We use your own presentation if you have one.
Meetings and updates
Giving an update that people understand, interrupting politely, disagreeing without causing offence, and saying you do not know.
Selling and client calls
Explaining what you do, answering a hard question, talking about price, and following up in writing afterwards.
€110 for four lessons, VAT included, paid at the start. Other subjects can be arranged — please ask.
