When I started writing Small Talk for English Learners, I didn’t plan to write two books at once. Honestly, I thought I was just creating a practical speaking guide — something learners could use to finally feel more confident when chatting in English.
But very quickly, I realised something deeper was missing.
It’s not just that learners need better vocabulary. It’s that they need a plan.A system that helps them show up, keep going, and study in a way that fits their real life.
So while I was writing Small Talk, I also started building a complete self-study framework. Not a course. Not a pile of worksheets. But a clear, 7-day cycle that blends AI, memory science, structure, and mindset.
That became Book 2: Master English Independently — a full self-study success plan that uses tools like ChatGPT, YouGlish, Anki and more — with daily routines, warm-ups, goal-setting, and progress tracking built in.
Both books were written side by side — tested live with real students and real challenges. I didn’t create them from theory. I created them because my learners needed them, and frankly, so did I.
What’s inside each book?

Cultural tips so you sound natural (not robotic)
Perfect for A2–B2 learners and anyone who freezes during small talk

Smart use of AI tools (and how to make them work for you)
