By accessing or using our website lanaltx.com (the "Site"), purchasing our products (including ebooks, application licenses, and subscriptions), and using any Lanaltx application (the "Applications"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Definitions
"Customer" refers to any individual or entity who purchases or uses our Products."Products" include all items sold on our Site, including but not limited to ebooks, digital downloads, physical goods, application licenses, subscriptions, and services accessed through Lanaltx Applications."Applications" refers to any software application developed and distributed by Lanaltx, including but not limited to mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms."Application License" refers to the right to download and use a Lanaltx Application, purchased directly through lanaltx.com.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By using this Site and purchasing our Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use this Site or purchase our Products.
4. Product Descriptions and Availability
We strive to provide accurate descriptions of our Products. However, we do not warrant that descriptions are error-free. Product availability is subject to change without notice.
5. Pricing and Payment
Pricing: All prices are listed in EUR and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change.Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and Stripe on lanaltx.com.Payment Processing: All payment transactions processed through lanaltx.com are secured through Stripe or PayPal. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers; payment information is tokenized and encrypted according to PCI DSS standards.Taxes: VAT is included in the price for EU customers. 6. Orders and Delivery
Order Processing: Orders are processed upon receipt of payment. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been processed.Delivery:- Physical Products: Estimated delivery times range from 5-10 business days within Europe. Tracking information will be provided where applicable.- Digital Products (Ebooks): Delivered electronically via email or download link immediately upon purchase.- Application Licenses (Website): Download instructions and activation sent immediately upon purchase.- Application Subscriptions: Activation details sent immediately upon purchase through lanaltx.com.
7. Digital Products and Services
7.1 Ebooks and Website Digital Products License:
Purchasing an ebook or digital product through lanaltx.com grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the product for personal, educational use only. Redistribution or resale is prohibited.Delivery: Digital products are delivered electronically via email or download link immediately upon purchase. If you experience technical issues, contact our support team for assistance or a replacement.Explicit Consent and Withdrawal of Right: For EU consumers, you have a 14-day right to cancel this contract. However, for digital content (ebooks, downloadable materials), you acknowledge that you waive your right to cancel once the download begins, in accordance with Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. By clicking "I agree to download this digital content," you confirm that you understand you will lose your cancellation right once you initiate the download.Returns and Refunds: Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are not provided after download starts. For technical issues preventing access, contact us for assistance or a replacement within 30 days of purchase.
7.2 Lanaltx Applications -
License and AccessApplication License Grant: Purchasing an Application License through lanaltx.com grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use a Lanaltx Application on up to 2 of your personal iOS and/or Android devices for personal, non-commercial use only.License Scope: Application Licenses purchased through lanaltx.com may be used on up to 2 of your personal devices. This license is for your personal use only and may not be shared, transferred, or resold.License Restrictions: You may not:- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of any Application- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access an Application's source code- Distribute, sell, or resell any Application or your license- Use any Application for commercial purposes- Share your license key or account credentials with others
Application Availability: Lanaltx Applications are distributed through lanaltx.com. Availability may vary by region or device specifications. Lanaltx reserves the right to discontinue any Application or feature with reasonable notice.
System Requirements: Lanaltx Applications require:- iOS 13.0 or later (iPhone/iPad)- Android 8.0 or later- Stable internet connection for full functionality- Minimum storage space as specified in product listingsLanaltx is not responsible for compatibility issues from outdated operating systems or devices below minimum specifications.Application Updates: Lanaltx may update Applications to improve functionality, security, and user experience. Updates may be mandatory or optional. Continued use of updated Applications constitutes acceptance of any new terms.
7.3 Application Subscriptions
(Recurring - Website Purchases)Subscription Plans: Lanaltx offers subscription plans for Application access, listed on lanaltx.com. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Pricing: All subscription prices are listed in EUR and inclusive of VAT. Prices may change with notice.Payment and Billing: Payment is processed through Stripe or PayPal on the subscription date and each renewal date. You receive an email invoice for each charge.Automatic Renewal: Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel it. You authorize Lanaltx to charge your payment method for each renewal.
Subscription Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your account on lanaltx.com (Account Settings > Subscriptions > Cancel). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until the period ends.Refund Policy - Website Subscriptions:- Within 14 days of purchase, before you first access the subscription content: Full refund if you contact us.- After 14 days or after you first access subscription content: No refunds. Cancel anytime to prevent future charges.- No partial month refunds.- Technical failures: Contact us to discuss special cases.
EU Consumer Right to Cancel: For EU consumers purchasing subscriptions through lanaltx.com, you have a 14-day right to cancel this contract. To exercise this right, use our online withdrawal form (see Section 17) or contact us at support@lanaltx.com within 14 days of purchase, before accessing substantial portions of the subscription content. Once you have accessed the subscription content substantially, your cancellation right is lost.Failed Payments: If payment fails, we will attempt to charge again. If payment continues to fail, your subscription suspends until payment is received.
7.4 In-Application Purchases (Additional Content)
In-Application Content: Users may purchase additional courses, lessons, or premium features within Lanaltx Applications through lanaltx.com. These purchases are processed through our payment system.Pricing and Availability: In-application content prices are listed in EUR inclusive of VAT.Payment: Payment for in-application purchases is processed by Stripe or PayPal and secured according to PCI DSS standards.Refund Policy - In-Application Purchases: Within 14 days for full refund before substantial use; after 14 days or after first access, no refunds. Use our online withdrawal form (see Section 17) to exercise this right. Contact support for technical issues.EU Consumer Right to Cancel: For EU consumers purchasing in-application content through lanaltx.com, you have a 14-day right to cancel. Use our online withdrawal form (see Section 17) to exercise this right. Once you have accessed the content substantially, your cancellation right is lost.
7.5 Future Application Store Purchases
If Lanaltx Applications are made available for purchase or subscription through third-party application stores (such as Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other platforms) in the future, the following terms will apply:Third-Party Store Terms: Purchases, billing, subscription management, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund policies for transactions processed through third-party application stores will be governed by the terms and conditions of that platform, not by these Terms and Conditions.Consumer Rights: When purchasing through a third-party application store, your consumer rights and protections will be determined by that platform's terms. Lanaltx will not be responsible for:- Payment processing or billing disputes- Refunds or subscription cancellations- Customer support for store-related transactions- Auto-renewal or account management through the storeSupport: For transactions processed through a third-party application store, contact that store's support directly. Lanaltx provides support only for products purchased through lanaltx.com.Conflict of Terms: In the event that these Terms conflict with the terms of a third-party application store for purchases made through that store, the third-party store's terms will govern that specific transaction.
7.6 Application
Content and ServicesContent License: Lanaltx Applications provide access to English language lessons, coaching materials, interactive exercises, progress tracking, live lesson sessions, and educational resources. All content is licensed for personal educational use only. You may not:- Reproduce, modify, distribute, or sell Application content- Use content for commercial purposes- Share login credentials with others- Screen-record content (except personal study notes)Live Lessons and Instructor Access: When you enroll in live lessons, your name, progress data, and learning goals are shared with your assigned instructor(s). By enrolling, you consent to this sharing.
7.7 Device Permissions
When you install and use Lanaltx Applications, you may be prompted to grant permissions for:- Microphone: Required for speaking practice and live lesson participation- Camera: Required for video lesson sessions- File Storage: Allows downloading lesson materials and offline access- Calendar: Optional; for scheduling lesson remindersPermissions are optional but necessary for full functionality. You can modify permissions anytime through device settings. Lanaltx only accesses resources when you actively use the corresponding feature.
7.8 Third-Party Services and Integrations
Lanaltx Applications may integrate with:- Video conferencing platforms (for live lessons)- Payment processing services (Stripe, PayPal)- Analytics tools (to improve Application performance)- Cloud storage services (for content delivery)Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. Lanaltx is not responsible for third-party availability, functionality, data practices, or security breaches.
7.9 Data Storage and Backups
Local Device Storage: Lanaltx Applications may cache lesson content on your device for offline access. This data remains on your device if you delete an Application; you must manually clear it.Backup Responsibility: Lanaltx is not responsible for loss of Application data from device malfunction, OS updates, user backup failure, third-party failures, or storage corruption.We recommend:- Regularly backing up your device through iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android)- Keeping your OS and security software updated- Not relying solely on Applications for critical learning records
7.10 Application Account Management
Account Termination by You: Delete your Application account anytime through Application Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion:- All personal data removed from Lanaltx servers within 30 days- Login credentials deactivated immediately- Active subscriptions cancelled at the end of the current billing cycle- Access to purchased content lost- Cached device data not automatically deletedAccount Termination by Lanaltx: Lanaltx may suspend or terminate your account if:- You violate these Terms- You engage in unauthorized or illegal activity- You abuse Application features or resources- You harass instructors- You attempt to circumvent payment controls- Required by lawTermination results in immediate loss of access to your account, subscriptions, and content.
7.11 Guest and Trial Access
Lanaltx Applications may offer limited features or trial access without account creation. Guest sessions are not tracked beyond the current session, and no personal data is retained after you close the Application. Trial access may be limited to specific lessons or timeframes. Conversion to a paid subscription requires account creation and payment.
8. Returns and Refunds
Physical Products: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided they are returned in their original condition. The customer bears the return shipping cost.Digital Products (Ebooks and Website Downloads): For EU consumers, you have a 14-day right to cancel the purchase of digital content. This right is lost once the download begins (as acknowledged before purchase). For technical issues preventing access after download, contact us for assistance or a replacement within 30 days of purchase.Application Licenses and Subscriptions (Website): 14-day cancellation right for EU consumers applies. This right is lost once you substantially access the Application content. After 14 days or upon substantial use, no refunds are provided. 9. Intellectual Property
Scope of Protection: All content on our Site (lanaltx.com) and within Lanaltx Applications, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, ebooks, downloadable materials, lesson content, course materials, audio recordings, video recordings, and interactive exercises, is protected by intellectual property laws and is the property of Lanaltx, AltLingua, or its licensors. This protection applies regardless of how you access the content—whether via the website or Applications.Restrictions: Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, modification, derivative creation, or any other misuse of this content is strictly prohibited. You may use content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not:- Republish, sell, or distribute any Lanaltx content- Create derivative works based on Lanaltx materials- Use content for competing educational services or platforms- Screen-record or extract content in bulk without permission- Claim authorship or ownership of Lanaltx contentEnforcement: Violation of these intellectual property rights may result in legal action. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lanaltx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Site or Products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lanaltx, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
1. Your use of our Site or Applications
2. Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
3. Your violation of third-party rights
4. Your breach of any law or regulation
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Site. For Application users, material changes will also be communicated through a notification within the Application. Continued use of our Site or Applications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
If a dispute arises, you agree to contact Lanaltx first so that we can try to resolve the matter directly and informally.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in another country.
For EU Consumers: Alternative Dispute Resolution
If you are an EU consumer and wish to seek out-of-court dispute resolution, you may contact a certified alternative dispute resolution body in your country.
Details of certified ADR bodies are available from your national consumer protection authority.
16. Geographic Restrictions
This website and Lanaltx Applications operate from the Republic of Cyprus and are intended for users located in the European Economic Area and other jurisdictions outside the United States and Canada.
We do not target or actively provide services to users located in the United States or Canada. Lanaltx Applications may not be available in all regions due to regulatory or platform restrictions.
If you choose to access this website or Applications from outside the intended regions, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws. If we discover that you are located in the United States or Canada, we may terminate your account and delete your data.Certain privacy tools or settings on this website, such as the "Do Not Sell My Data" button, are provided as a courtesy to global users and do not imply compliance with US-specific privacy laws such as the CCPA.
17. Digital Contract Function and Consumer Withdrawal (EU Requirement)
For EU consumers, Lanaltx provides an online withdrawal and cancellation function for qualifying consumer contracts purchased through lanaltx.com.

The reason for withdrawal is optional and does not affect your right to withdraw.
To submit the request, click “Withdraw from Contract”, review or confirm your request, then click “Confirm Withdrawal” if shown.
Account Area
Where available, you may also log into your account on lanaltx.com, go to Account Settings > My Orders/Subscriptions, select the order or subscription you wish to withdraw from, and follow the withdrawal or cancellation instructions.
Automatic Confirmation
After you submit a withdrawal request through the online form, you will receive an automated email confirmation containing your request details, order or subscription information, date and time of submission, and withdrawal reference number.
Processing
We will review your withdrawal request. If it meets the withdrawal criteria, meaning it is submitted within 14 days and access or download has not begun after your prior express consent and acknowledgement, a full refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.
Timing
Your 14-day withdrawal period begins on the purchase date shown in your order confirmation email.
Loss of Withdrawal Right
Your withdrawal right is lost once access or download begins, where you gave prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose your withdrawal right upon download or access initiation.
