Cancelling and changing your mind.

Summary There are two different things on this page. Withdrawal is your legal right to cancel the whole booking within fourteen days of making it. Cancelling a lesson is the everyday thing: you move or cancel one lesson, which is free with 24 hours' notice.
1. Your legal right to withdraw
If you are a consumer in the European Union and you booked online, you have fourteen days to cancel the contract without giving a reason. The fourteen days begin on the day the contract is made, which is the day I confirm your booking.
To use this right, tell me clearly that you wish to cancel. You can use the form below, or write to me in your own words. Sending your message before the fourteen days end is enough, even if it arrives later.
2. If your lessons have already started
If you asked me to start teaching before the fourteen days were over, you are asking me to begin during the cancellation period. You can still cancel, but you pay a fair amount for the lessons already taken. I refund the rest.
Once every lesson you booked has been taught, the right to withdraw has ended.
3. Refunds
I will confirm that I have received your notice, and refund you within fourteen days of receiving it. The refund goes back by the same method you used to pay, unless you ask for something else. There is no charge for the refund itself.
4. This does not apply to companies
The right to withdraw is a consumer right. Companies and organisations are not consumers, so it does not apply to company programmes. Those are cancelled under the terms and conditions instead.
5. Cancelling or moving a single lesson
This is different, and much simpler.
- More than 24 hours' notice — the lesson is moved or credited in full. No charge.
- Less than 24 hours' notice, or you do not attend — the lesson is treated as taken.
- If I cancel — the lesson is moved or refunded in full, whichever you prefer.
- Illness and genuine emergencies are handled reasonably. Please ask.
6. Cancellation form
You do not have to use this form. A clear message saying you wish to cancel is enough.

7. Written notice
